reunion dinner at the marriot wasn't anything much i thought. nothing fantastic for the amount of money we paid. we had yu sheng (of coz). scallops wit fish maw and asparagus. some african abolone or something. and i tell you. a whole abalone really looks like you know what. omg. we also had braised shark's fin soup. some fried rice thing wrapped in a kind of leaf and served in a mini bamboo steamer. so cute la. haha. but not very nice. LOL! then for dessert we had bird's nest served in a little coconut. HAHAHA. so cute. and we ate in a hole in the wall. sort of.

first day - went to visit my granny. collected hong baos. and that was basically it. oh. and found out that my auntie's dog has cancer of the mouth. sigh. so poor thing.

i know. damn funny right. like blind people. it's supposed to help your eyesight. particularly astigmatism. i think it's bogus but apparently my dad sees (there IS such a word right?) better wit it on. so yup.

second day - went to baby's granny's place. collected hong baos again. went to town afterwards wit his friends to catch Ah Long Pte Ltd. wah. damn funny. lol.

third day - lunched wit step bro and step sis at NSRCC. wah. this lunch was SUPER shiok la. had yu sheng AGAIN! cereal prawns. i'm a sucker for cereal prawns la. SHIOK. then we had braised shark's fin again. this one also super shiok. bits of crab meat in it. like real crab meat. SHIOK! the sambal kangkong was gross. omg. so bitter. had some cold dish consisting of duck and mango. had steamed soon hock in soy sauce (mel your favourite!). scallops in yam basket (didn't really like it). YOU TIAO!!!! yummy. aiya. can't remember what else la. haha.

got to see my newborn nephew too. SO CUTE!!!!!!! omg. was busy squishing the arms and legs. aiyo. so cute! so cute! so cute! sigh. didn't get to carry though. my mom and dad were more excited than anything else. AIYO. REALLY VERY CUTE.
