so. after 7 years not being to the night safari. i've concluded that i won't be going there again for the next 10 years.

so met junnyean. and i thought i was late. but he was even later. -_- anyways. drove all the way to mandai. omg. nearly died. i was like. "are we there yet? are we there yet?" and yes. i was the one driving.

finally got there. thinking that a tuesday wouldn't draw a crowd. boy were we wrong. the tram ride queue was endless. parking was easy though. just that they didn't turn on the lights. so i was practically driving in the dark. my headlights were the only source of light. (ok. maybe i'm exaggerating. *haha*) but it was really really dark. and in the end i parked on two lots. I DON'T CARE! there was plenty anyways.

went to watch the animal show. it was quite entertaining la. lame. but entertaining. some of the animals were just simply adorable. like the otters. especially the one named Pedro. OH-SO-CUTE!!! simply adorable. just wanna squeeze it!

then it was tram rides and trails. hiking up and down. peeking into enclosures wit probably no animals in them. having a bat almost fly into my face. and then loom over me. wit me not even knowing.

according to junnyean. all i wanted to see were the BEARDED PIGS. (idiot!) and basically all the pig family. like the.........errr.....the.....oh! the babirusa. and the tapirs who were thought to be giant pigs. and capybara. rodent/pig like things. *sigh* and then he said i was the star attraction of the piggies. crap. ggrrrr!!!

anyways. think i lost a few kilos there. *LOL* it was so hot. so humid. luckily the tram ride back was cooling.

then it was supper at the HK cafe. it's quite yummy. another hangout place. =) oh. and then east coast for rubbish chat. the wind was so strong. was freezing. talked about how commandos are regarded as top notch soldiers and yet were the first to die. it's sad really.

then home it was. *yawn*

shall post some pictures soon. though there's no point really since there isn't any of our faces in them. but just to show how dark the night safari was and how the flash was strictly prohibited. shit. there isn't a point. is there?
